Jake and Nathan: Capitol Reef Intimate Wedding

Jake and Nathan decided to hold their wedding with their closest family and friends in Capitol Reef National Park in Utah. Jake is actually my second cousin, and our pioneer ancestors actually settled in the Fruita valley which is now where the Visitors center is! It was so special to be there with our family and see Jake and Nathan married in a place that has been so special to my family for many years.

Jake and Nathan had a part of their ceremony where important family members gave them advice and well-wishes before placing a strip of fabric over their hands, which they would later tie into a knot.

After the ceremony, we went to Chimney Rock and Panorama Point for some photos of just the two of them before heading back to the orchard for dinner.

After photos, we headed back for burgers with their close friends and family. Jake & Nathan had a local food truck come to provide dinner, and it was amazing! We spent the evening chatting, eating local pies from the Fruita convenience store in the park. It was a perfect day!
