Intimate Wedding in the High Uintas Wilderness

Sara and Keith exchanging vows in a mountain meadow

Keith and Sara had just moved to Salt Lake City, when they decided they wanted to start their new adventure hitched, and have an intimate wedding in the beautiful Uinta mountains. The Uintas is one of my most absolute favorite places, and I was so excited to take Sara, Keith, and their families (and their pup Winston!) to see some of the most stunning scenery Utah has to offer.

Keith and Sara exchanged vows in a beautiful open meadow with tall pines and mountains lining the edges. Everything was so care-free and happy, it was so fun to help Keith and Sara have that experience. After the ceremony, we popped some champagne, celebrated, and headed further into the mountains to explore and take some more photos. Our next stop was Upper Provo River falls, which was running wild down the mountain with fresh spring run off. It was early enough in the season that we had almost every spot we visited completely to ourselves.

To end the day, I took them to a small, secluded meadow to share a first dance and drink some occasion-appropriate Uinta beer. The sun was setting over the mountain ridge as Sara and Keith shared a quiet first dance with a slow song playing from a phone speaker.
